Facials and Skin Services
Frequently asked questions.

Should I expect to break out after my service?

Some people can break out after facial service, especially if this is your first time. There are a few reasons for a post-facial break-out, but the most common is your skin may be purging bacteria that was already there and the facial simply brought it ahead. In rare cases, there may be an allergic or intense reaction to a product used. This is very rare though.

What product line(s) do you use for your facials?

We use Gabriel Cosmetics, Kari Gran, and Coola skincare lines.

How close to an important event should I have my facial done?

Give yourself at least one week just in case anything pops up. We want to give you plenty of time to heal before your big event.

Does it hurt?

Facials are typically very relaxing. Extractions are optional and can cause some discomfort at times.

What if I have sensitive skin?

We have great products for sensitive and/ or reactive skin as well as soothing options to keep your skin happy during the service.

Will it heal my acne?

The short answer is yes, a facial and a great skincare routine can help heal acne when being consistent. Acne can be happening intrinsically, however, so there could be an underlying issue happening inside your body causing the acne. We are happy to discuss all of this before we start or during your facial as we are doing your skin analysis.

What should I do after my facial to keep my skin looking and feeling healthy?

We always give you feedback before the facial is done. This will include product recommendations and the next time we recommend you come in for another service. Your skin is the largest organ in our body so staying consistent with skincare specific for you is the most important component.
